Racking servers, storage or network hardware may sound simple, but there are finer aspects that affect the quality and reliability of the deployed system. Every data centre varies in the type of facilities and size – and some of them are a logistical nightmare.
Network Infrastructure Build
DACPros provides turnkey solutions, plug & play installations that are ready to slot into your existing infrastructure. We take care of the entire process, starting from the moment equipment arrives at your data centre. We assess your data centre environment well in advance and help you to adjust the task timelines and number of people accordingly, to cope with the local challenges.
Everything will be unpacked, and the equipment moved to the data hall or temporary storage area. Our engineers work from a pre-prepared rack plan that details exactly where every specific item of equipment will be installed in each rack.
All data cabling (fibre optic or copper) will be installed and cross-connection for network devices provided.
Remote console access will then be organised for your network devices to ensure your team can configure everything remotely.
We are happy to assist in configuring server iLOM or even carry out OS installations on your servers. We can also add line cards to routers or firewalls and install and configure DWDMs, wave servers, console servers, managed PDUs and other standard devices.
As part of our fully bespoke service, our engineers can also install non-standard devices, if you can provide the full manual.
We also collect and recycle all packaging materials, so your data centre is left exactly how we found it.
